Weird emails.

Within the last day or two, I got an email from a dear friend. My older friend who gracefully drove me to the hospital for the toe chopping.

There are things we clearly do not agree upon but we have agreed to disagree and politics is one of those things. She is very, very, very much the staunch Democrat. It doesn’t matter that the party of today does not even bear the slightest resemblance to the party of the 90s, just like rooting for a sports team, those allegiances are hard to kick.

Now, I will allow her to talk about politics or make the off hand comment and let it slide because I don’t have a problem with other points of view but I know that if I challenge her or voice my own opinions she will ultimately get very upset. This happens often because it’s pretty easy to poke holes in a lot of the things Democrats say they are about.

Case in point… yesterday when I posted about today’s Democrats being a lot like the party in the former U.S.S.R. people might have thought that was over the top hyperbole but let’s look at recent history…

In the 2024 election, the Democrats were entirely willing to install someone into the Oval Office that had not gotten A SINGLE VOTE!

There really is no dancing around that.

First, they tried to gaslight the nation saying that the current President was not in a state of severe cognitive decline even when the nation had seen repeated instances of it over the four years prior. They even went out of their way to choreograph every single interaction the President had with the media and kept those interactions to the absolute minimum.

After the June 2024 debate though, it was impossible for Democrats to continue with that lie as the nation saw for itself a man looking very lost.

So, what did Democrats do? They simply bypassed the voters and installed someone else into the top spot! This was after deciding to bypass primaries. So, let’s just be clear… Democrats (the party) decided to install someone into power?

Well, that sure sounds like the Soviet playbook to me! So, the next time you hear one of these clowns on MSNBC, CNN or from Congress carping about ‘THREATS TO OUR DEMOCRACY!’ Just remember, they’ve taken actions that are quite the opposite in an effort to maintain power and their hysteria is just deflection.
